Serves 2 Cooks in 20 Minutes Difficulty EASY
Ingredients
- 80g minced pork
- A good handful of glass noodles
- 2 coriander roots
- 4 cloves garlic
- A handful of coriander leaves
- 5 slices of carrot
- 2 Chinese cabbage leaves
- 10 black peppercorns
- 2 tbsp fried crispy garlic
- Pepper
- 1 tsp chicken stock
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 400ml water
Method
- Smash the garlic, coriander roots and black peppercorns in a pestle and mortar.
- In a bowl, mix the smashed garlic, coriander roots and black peppercorns with the minced pork and add 1 tsp soy sauce.
- Make this mixture into small meat balls around 2.5 cm in diameter.
- In a soup pan bring the water to the boil, first adding the stock, then the meatballs.
- Add the coriander leaves, carrot, Chinese cabbage leaves, pepper, 1 tsp soy sauce and the sugar.
- Simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Add the glass noodles and simmer for another minute. Then remove from the heat.
To Serve
Serve the soup in bowls and top with the crispy garlic.
