Stir Fried Pork with Thai Basil

Serves 2 Cooks in 15 minutes Difficulty EASY


  • 200g minced pork
  • 25g Thai basil (krapow)
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 5 hot chillies
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Splash of dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp pork stock
  • 1-2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg
  • 25ml water

Some basic ingredients for Krapow Muu


  1. Smash garlic and chillies and fry in the oil.
  2. Add the pork and stir around the wok until cooked.
  3. Add the sauces and stock, stir around until the meat is evenly coated.
  4. Right at the end add the basil, turn off the heat and give a quick stir.

To Serve

Serve with a fried egg and steamed rice.
