Yam Tunah
Serves 2 Cooks in 10 minutes Difficulty Easy
Yam Tunah follows on from my last recipe of easy Thai fish dishes I’ve come up with in my free time from my Thai cooking class in Khao Lak. This time you will need a can of tuna and a few simple ingredients to create a zesty, spicy Thai-style Tuna Salad.
This is quite a versatile recipe and you could use many ingredients instead of the tuna. Grilled chicken would be excellent too.
Ingredients
- 1 tin of tuna
- 6 chilli
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 large shallot, chopped
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 1 spring onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tbsp palm sugar
- 1 tsp chicken stock
- Handful of coriander leaves
Method
- Add the fish sauce, palm sugar, chilli, lime juice and stock to a bowl and mix well.
- Add the the onion, shallot, tuna and mix well.
- Add the coriander and spring onion and give the mixture a final stir.
To Serve
Serve with sliced cucumber and tomatoes and some extra spring onions.
