Ingredients

  • 700 ml water
  • 4-5 dried shitake mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Method

  1. Slice the dried shitake mushrooms.
  2. Heat the water in a sauce pan, add all the ingredients and simmer on medium heat until reduced by half.
  3. Strain and allow to cool.

To Store

Store in the fridge for up to two months.

Vegan Fish Sauce replaces Fish Sauce which is a core ingredient in most Thai dishes.
